Who Is The True You?

A single chair in a room with rustic brick walls, gentle lighting and hanging lights from the ceiling

A place no one goes,

A place you try so hard to not know,

Forgotten and hidden,

Pushed to the back - "Good riddance",

But a secret distance,

Haunts your existence,

For lost fragments of you,

Slide and slice through,

I wonder,

Who

Is the true

You?

Do you seek to explore?

The there,

The now,

And the before,

Unravelled to the core,

You will no longer be ignored,

You will take up space,

And search for your true place,

Let freedom and choice,

Free your aching voice.

For you are heard here,

You are seen,

You are more than a cog in the machine,

And you are

Exactly who you are meant to be.
