Each therapist in Therapists in Kind is unique and offers their own approach to the therapeutic relationship and understanding an individuals needs. Each therapist has their own way of being and areas of interests which is what makes Therapists in Kind a unique directory for clients to explore.

As a member of Therapists in Kind, I believe in creating a safe, inclusive space where every individual is respected and supported. I am guided by the ethical codes and guidelines of NCPS, along with the core principals of Therapists in Kinds. We ensure that we work in a collaborative way that fosters healing, growth, and trust to create a safe space where you can explore yourself.

This means that if you feel like we are not a good fit, but want to work with someone who has the same principles and values, you can check out our therapists directory for other like-minded therapists who may be more suitable for you.

Why I Joined Therapists in Kind

I wanted to become a member of Therapists in Kind due to my own experiences of searching for a therapist.

I struggled to find someone who I felt like would understand my wider socio-cultural and political influences and I found it increasingly difficult and tedious searching through countless directories with over 1000+ therapists searching for someone who may hold the same values, attitudes and beliefs as me.

As a therapist, I wanted to make this process easier for clients and joining Therapists in Kind created this opportunity. Clients can search through a concise directory of therapists who all hold a commitment to upholding the same principles and values in therapy.

As a professional, it feels important to me to collaborate and work with other therapists who prioritise understanding the wider intersections of a clients identity. I want to work with like-minded professionals and create a space where we can empower and educate both clients and therapists alike.
